Tam Coc, where King Le returned to live in seclusion, is a charming place with green water and blue mountains.
In the morning:
- 08:30 a.m: Leave for Tam Coc, take boat rowing along Ngo Dong river among the rice fields to visit Tam Coc – Three Grottoes.
- 10:30 a.m: Have a short walk through the limestone mountains to Thai Vi temples which was dedicated to the Four Kings in the Tran dynasty in the 13th century to enjoy peace, simplicy of old architecture style, etc.
- 11:30 a.m: Drive to Bich Dong pagoda: Chua Ha, Chua Trung, Chua Thuong. Admiring nature, studying Mahayana Buddism. Lunch at Ninh Binh Legend Hotel restaurant.
Long dress is politely requested at temples and pagodas.
In the afternoon:
- 02:00 p.m: Departure to Hoa Lu Temples – The ancient capital of Viet Nam in the 10th century. Enjoying the 11th and 17th century architecture style, old sculpture-carvings on wood and stone depicting the daily lives, dreams and wishes for peace, good lives, etc.
