Thung Nham is famous for not only many kinds of birds living but also the Cave on the water surface or mountain.

The way to travel to Thung Nham
Traveling from Ha Noi along the 1A national road, when reaching the down 3 that having the large gate, turn right and travel along to the Tam Coc resort way. When passing the Tam Coc resort, go along the Bich Dong Pagoda way, near the pagoda there are one down 3, turn left then go ahead to Thung Nham Resort.
There are two main ways to reach Thung Nham Resort, tourists can travel by boat to the But Cave or bus to Thung Nham.
Visiting the Thung Nham bird garden
There are many visiting activities and day or night tours for the tourists.
Here are some destinations in Thung Nham that tourists can’t ignore: But Cave (having plaster stone fairy man statue, no light), Vai Gioi Cave (having 3 cave floors with many fanciful stalactites), Bird Garden Area (wetland, thickset tree and birds). Moreover, there are Tien Ca Cave, Thuy cung Cave, Fruit Garden and moving banyan Tree.
Tourists should go to Bird Garden late about 5pm because of the time of coming back of birds after earning a living. However, tourists can also visit at 2 – 3pm if they don’t have time.

If choosing overnight, tourists can visit all the travel sites in Thung Nham, they can visit the Bird Garden at the lately afternoon. Tourists also can hold the team building activities and camp fire in the evening. This area is away from the resort about 300m to avoid the noisy atmosphere.
Besides, if overnight, tourists can combine with the other destinations such as: Bich Dong Pagoda, Tam Coc Resort or Thien Ha Cave. Tourists can rest at the hotels in Ninh Binh city or the hotels in Tam Coc Resort.
If tourists travel during the day, they can visit But Cave, Vai Gioi Cave and Bird Garden Area. Tourists can visit the Bird Garden at 3pm although there are not have much birds.
